FOR THE KIDS Family Fun! The Bitter & Twisted Festival welcomes families to come along for the fun (of course anyone under the age of 18 must be accompanied by an adult within the Festival site) and to keep the kiddies entertained there will be face-painting and Bitter & Twisted characters to entertain, surprise and delight. Sunday is family day when a Kids Zone will be set up to ensure all the family is occupied.
WINE Beer Not Your Tipple? No need to worry if beer isn’t your beverage of choice. You're in the Hunter Valley, famous around the world for
its wine. There's a few to try on the weekend from various wineries around the Hunter.

GAOL TOURS
Hear an insider's Tale - B & T Guided Tours Throughout the Festival, Maitland Gaol will be offering their very own tales of conspiracies, escapes and prison life with ex-inmate led Gaol Tours. Running hourly from 11.00am – 4.00pm on Saturday and Sunday these tours will provide a fascinating insiders look at life on the inside.
History Tours, which recount tales of the 150 year history of this former maximum security prison will also operate hourly between 11.30am - 4.30pm on Saturday and Sunday.
Each tour is $7.00 per person and will depart from the signposted Tour Departure Point just near the front entrance. Tours run for 45 minutes.
