Mark Wells A talented singer / songwriter hailing from down-town Newcastle, Mark Wells is something of a local institution. Memorable tunes and energetic performances are his signature and this has landed him a stack of awards and a following of dedicated supporters.
His range is expansive, fluent in rock, country and pop he is a versatile musician. Such versatility has seen him travel to Nashville after winning the Songwriter’s Prize during the Telstra Road to Tamworth competition. Recognition closer to home has been thick and fast also with Mark taking out the Best Male Vocalist award at the 2007 ABC Music Awards in Newcastle. |
